ASIN
A 10-character alphanumeric identifier that Amazon assigns to every product in its catalog (e.g., B08N5WRWNW).
The Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is Amazon's SKU. Books use the ISBN as the ASIN; all other products receive a generated B0-prefixed identifier. Sellers either list against an existing ASIN (joining other sellers' offers) or create a new one for unique products via Brand Registry. ASIN-level metrics — Buy Box ownership, conversion rate, review volume — are the operational unit Amazon sellers optimize.
